Field Description
Extension / User Name ISDN terminals: Enter the subscriber number the extension.
SIP terminals: Enter the user name.
A maximum of 40 characters can be entered.
Interface Type Select the interface type to be used.
The selection depends on the interfaces available.
Possible values:
• -: A SIP terminal device is used for the call.
• -1*: An ISDN terminal device is used for the call. Can only
be selected if ISDN interfaces configured with Euro ISDN
point-to-multipoint (NT mode) are available.
• 0/$: An analogue terminal device is used for the call.
Can only be selected if analogue interfaces are available.
Select ISDN interface Only for Interface Type = -1*.
Select an ISDN interface. The ISDN interfaces you can select
depends on the device used.
Select analogue inter-
face
Only for Interface Type = 0/$.
Select an analogue interface.
Possible values:
• fxs5-1
• fxs5-2
• fxs5-3 (default value)
• fxs5-4
Registration Only for Interface Type = -.
Specify whether the registration mechanism is to be used by
SIP REGISTER. Normally, every SIP client (user) sends its cur-
rent position to a REGISTRAR server by means of a RE-
GISTER message. This information about the user and his cur-
rent address is held by the REGISTRAR server and queried by
other proxies to find the user.
