Enabled Alarms
Editable or read-only, depending on theGSD file. When this box is checked, a slot signals
the withdrawal of a module or the insertion of a module.
Editable or read-only, depending on the GSD file. When this check box is checked, a
process alarm signals the occurrence of an event in the connected process. For example,
the event may be "upper limit value exceeded."
Editable or read-only, depending on the GSD file. When this check box is checked, a
diagnostic alarm signals an event within a slot. For example, events may be over
temperature or short circuit.
Editable or read-only, depending on the GSD file. When this box is checked, manufacturer-
specific alarms are enabled.

alarm signals a change in the state (such as run, stop, or ready) of a module.

update alarm signals the change of a parameter in a slot, for example, by a local operation
or remote access.
