5. Tighten the node housing bolts in the prescribed order to a torque of 8-10 ft-lbs; tighten the bolts in the
order shown on the lid flange next to each bolt and in the figure below.
IMPORTANT: Failure to properly torque will result in water ingress.

6. Install O-ring watertight plugs into unused RF ports, tighten and torque to 8 ft-lbs.
IMPORTANT: Failure to do so will result in water ingress.
7. Replace any damaged heat shrink tubing on the node cable entry connections.
Result: The Ripple-2 node installation is now complete.
Post maintenance testing
After RF tray or diplexer filter replacement, the downstream output level and tilt, and upstream input levels
should be verified.
If the RF tray upper frequency is different to that of the previous RF tray, the tilt and output level may need
adjustment.
Downstream performance
The downstream test points (-20 dB) are accessed from outside the housing as shown below.
