• Medium flat-blade screwdriver
1. Loosen the captive screw.
2. Use the green handle to unplug the SIDACtor board from the AC board.
3. Plug the replacement SIDACtor board into the AC board.
4. Tighten the captive screw.

Replacing the tamper switch
The tamper switch is a feature of the Ripple-2 FTTx node platform and can be replaced if required. The
tamper switch enables operators to monitor if the node lid is closed or open.
NOTE: A faulty tamper switch in the Ripple-2 RF node platform requires that the RF tray be
replaced.
