Replacing field-replaceable items
The RF tray, Power supplies, Pebble-2 RPD, Jetty-1Switches, Diplexers, SIDACtor board, and tamper
switch are field replaceable. These features simplify installation and ongoing maintenance, including
remote troubleshooting, helping to reduce the number of "truck rolls".
Tools
• Torque wrench with 6-point 1/2" socket
• Medium flat-blade screwdriver
• Opening the Ripple-2 Node housing
• Replacing the RF tray
• Replacing the Lid Motherboard (LMB)
• Replacing or installing power supply modules
• Replacing a Pebble-2 module
• Replacing a Jetty-1 module
• Replacing diplexer filters
• Replacing the SIDACtor board
• Replacing the tamper switch
• Closing the Ripple-2 Node housing
• Post maintenance testing

• Medium flat-blade screwdriver
IMPORTANT: Provide environmental protection for the node whenever it is opened and exposed to
the elements.
