Remote FTTx Switch (PON)
The CableOS Ripple-2 FTTx node platform housing comprises a base and a lid.
The following figure shows the Ripple-2 node platform with two Jetty-1 modules installed.

Number Component Description
- Base
Connected physically to the lid by a hinge, and electrically
with DC power and control cables. Incorporates four physical
access ports.
- Lid
Connected physically to the base by a hinge and DC power
and control cables.
Components:
• Lid motherboard
• One or two Jetty-1 modules
• One or two Power supplies
• Optical fiber ports
• Fiber management tray
