18 Buoy Power
Backup module
(optional)
Buoy allows the node to withstand brief power interruptions
(up to 4 seconds in duration), with minimal disruption to
service. The Buoy Power Backup module fits into the 2nd PSU
compartment of the node, and is hot-swappable.
19 Jetty-1 module
Remote Switch
20 SFP ports 6 SFP Ports. Can be populated with SFP+ compliant
packages containing:
• 6x Ethernet
• 1x Ethernet + 5x Fin-1 Remote OLT
• 2x Ethernet + 4x Fin-1 Remote OLT
◦ I-Temp: N0 / PR10+, 1:16 @20km, 1:64 maximum
21 Optical fiber port Two optical fiber ports are available.

• Remote FTTX Switch platform bundle includes:
◦ Node housing, including fiber manangement tray
◦ Power supply selection
◦ Tamper switch
Standalone components are shipped separately and include:
• Pebble-2 RPD or RMD
• Jetty-1 Switch(es)
