3.18 USE TALKAROUND TO BYPASS REPEATER (ANALOG AND P25
CONVENTIONAL ONLY)
You can bypass the repeater system to communicate directly with other radios on your current channel’s
receive frequency. This is useful if you are out of range of a repeater or if a repeater is busy. You will
need to be in range of the other radio.
1. At main display, press to select MENU.
2. Use to highlight and select CALL, or press .
3. Use to change TALKAROUND MODE to ENABLED.
