2.3.2 Charging voltage confirmation
●This confirmation is performed in a state the IJ printer “stop” state.
●Attach the nozzle head cover for check.
●Before this confirmation, set “the speed follow-up” on the “user environment
setup” screen to “0: none”.
●Be sure to perform this confirmation when performing the board exchange
(EZJ93 and EZJ94/EZJ106).
1Press Adjustment/operational checkout at the second page of the
service maintenance screen.
When the Next menu are not displayed in the maintenance work menu, set to
the service personnel maintenance mode by the password protection.
2Press Charge voltage confirmation.
Since the voltage for the confirmation is output for 3 minutes, measure the TP12
on the EZJ 94 board / EZJ106 board using an oscilloscope and confirm that the
TP12 is in the range of DC 250 ± 15V.
With respect to positions of
the board and the test pin,
refer to "3.3.2 EZJ94 board /
EZJ106 board".
fter the completion of
the adjustment, the work
can be stopped before the
passing of 3 minutes by
pressing the Abort key.
With respect to the
Password protection,
refer to 2.1 setting of
service personnel
maintenance mode.

If the charge voltage cannot be checked using this function because the IJ printer
is operating, use the following values for reference:
Charge voltage for Auto-phase : Approx. 11 V
Charge voltage for printing (least significant dot):
Approx. 70 V (character height: 99; particle use ratio: 03)
Charge voltage for printing (most significant dot):
Approx. 280 V (character height: 99; particle use ratio: 03)
However, the charge voltage for printing will vary depending on the particle use
ratio and printing conditions (character height setting and character width).
