3.3 Engine part
●With regard to the electric parts/control board of the engine part, the functional
outline, the setting of the switch, the list of the check point/LED and the note at the
replacement are described.
3.3.1 EZJ93 board (MPU board)
【Function】
●Performs printing control, circulation system control and nozzle control (charge
voltage, excitation voltage, auto phase and so on).
●Stores the user data (printing data) and operation management information.
【Setting of switch/check point/LED display and the like】
●Setting of the switch is not performed.
●Check points/LED (a check pin of which reference number is marked with a
parenthesis is not mounted yet)

【Note at the replacement】

Be sure to turn off the power when replacing the EZJ93 board.
●
Save the data on the Memory card by using the following procedure before
replacing the EZJ93 board, and recover the data after the replacement.
(1) Save the data on the Memory card by using the data copy function.
(IJP → Memory card)
(2) Replace the EZJ93.
(3) System reset.
(4) Download it.
(5) Recover the data from the Memory card by using the data copy function.
(Memory card → IJP)
(6) As the operation management, operating time management values and
password setup are not copied up by the data copy function, enter them
again.
With respect to the
download, refer to “2.5
Download”.
The data copy function includes a user mode and service engineer maintenance
mode: The types of data to be copied are different for each of these modes. When
replacing the EZJ102 board, set to the service personnel maintenance mode,
because the printer unique data must be data copy.
・User mode : User data (print data, user patterns)
・Service personnel maintenance mode : Use data (same as above) and setup
data unique to printer.
