When the MX8000 receives a Contact ID
®
(also referred to as Point ID – PID) transmission while operating
in the 685 mode, the output protocol to the computer is as shown in Figure 8–4.

ADEMCO DTMF formats will not transmit a true TouchTone “0” therefore, all “A”s are converted to 0 (zero)
prior to output. The code string contains spaces at the points shown in Figure 8–4.
