3.18.8 Example for Configuring HoVPN
After configuring HoVPN, you can enable multiple PEs to play different roles to form a
hierarchical structure. In this manner, these PEs function as one PE, and the performance
requirement for PEs are lowered.
Networking Requirements
As shown in Figure 3-9:
l CE1 and CE2 belong to VPN-A and the VPN target is 1:1.
l CE1 accesses the backbone network through the UPE and CE2 accesses the network
through the PE.
l The UPE, the SPE and the PE are interconnected through OSPF.
