9. RouterA transmits the parameters of the CHAP response, response identifier and PPP
negotiation to RouterB.
10. RouterB sends an access request to the LNS RADIUS server for authentication.
11. The LNS RADIUS server authenticates this access request and replies with a response if
the authentication is successful.
12. If the local mandatory CHAP authentication is configured on RouterB, RouterB
authenticates the user by sending a CHAP challenge. The user replies with a CHAP
response.
13. RouterB resends this access request to the LNS RADIUS server for authentication;
14. The LNS RADIUS server re-authenticates this access request and replies with a response
if the authentication is successful.
15. After authentication is complete, the user can access the enterprise resources.
