2 Installing and Removing the N2000H V3

The rear panel of the Appliance provides a DB15 VGA port but no standard PS/2 port for a
keyboard or mouse. You can connect a keyboard and mouse to USB ports on the front or rear
panel based on site installation conditions. There are two connection methods:
Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to USB ports on the Appliance directly.
Connect a keyboard and mouse to a USB port on the Appliance using a USB-to-PS/2
cable.

Conditions
No special condition is required for this operation.
Data
Data preparation is not required for this operation.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the USB connector on the PS2 cable to the USB port on the front or rear panel of the
Appliance.
Step 2 Connect the connectors on the other end of the PS2 cable to the keyboard and mouse.
Step 3 Connect the DB15 connector on one end of a VGA cable to the VGA port on the rear panel of
the Appliance, and tighten the screws on both sides of the connector to secure the cable.
Step 4 Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the VGA port on the monitor, and tighten the two
screws on the connector to secure the cable.
