If this option is selected, the user account is
disabled. This option is applicable to a user
account temporarily not in use.

Step 5 Click Create. The user account is created.
Step 6 Choose the Groups node. A list of default groups created by the system is displayed on the
right.
Step 7 Add the user to a specific group based on the user account type.
To manage the rights of users in a unified manner, you can add users to specific user groups.
Adding a user to the Users group is used as an example.
Right-click Users and choose Add to Group from the shortcut menu.
Click Add. On the Select Users page, select Locations.
Select a user you want to added to the Users group.
In the Locations window, select a server name, for example, RH2285-121.
In the Enter the object names to select area, enter the name of a local user, for
example, department1-user.
Click OK.

Result
After configuring and adding the local user to the Users group, perform the following steps to
check whether parameters are set successfully:
Choose the Users node. If the user list displayed on the right contains user
department1-user, the user is added successfully.
Choose the Groups node. A list of default groups created by the system is displayed on
the right. Double-click Users. If user department1-user is displayed in the Members
area of the Users Properties window, the local user is successfully added to the
specified group.
4.7.2 Configuring Sharing Features
This section explains how to configure sharing features such as Common Internet File System
(CIFS) sharing, Network File System (NFS) sharing, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) sharing,
and Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) sharing.
4.7.2.4 Configuring a CIFS Share
CIFS sharing is the most common way to share files between Windows hosts. To enable
Windows hosts to access shared folders on a server, you must configure and enable the CIFS
sharing feature.
Prerequisites
The hardware of the N2000 server has been installed and powered on.
