on the riser card and a PCIe card on the mainboard.

This topic describes how to remove a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) card
from the riser card.
Scenarios
Remove a PCIe card in any of the following scenarios:
A PCIe card fails.
The riser card connected to a PCIe card is to be removed.
A PCIe card is to be replaced with a new model.
