Display (Continued)
LCD Contrast (Default: 5)
[MENU] > Display > LCD Contrast
Set the LCD Contrast level to between 1 (the lowest) and 10 (the highest).
RX Popup (Default: Normal)
[MENU] > Display > RX Popup
Select whether or not to display the pop-up when you receive a digital signal.
OFF: The pop-up is not displayed.
Normal: When the Digital signal is received, the call sign or ID of FROM/TO
stations are displayed for 3 seconds.
RX Hold: While receiving the Digital signal, the call sign or ID of FROM/TO
stations are displayed until any key is pushed or [DIAL] is rotated.
Hold: When the Digital signal is received, the call sign or ID of FROM/TO
stations are displayed until any key is pushed or [DIAL] is rotated.
P25 RX ID Display (Default: Dec)
[MENU] > Display > P25 RX ID Display
Set the display format of the received ID in the P25 mode to decimal number (Dec) or
hexadecimal number (Hex).
Digital RX Backlight (Default: ON)
[MENU] > Display > Digital RX Backlight
Turn the Digital RX Backlight function ON or OFF.
In the Digital mode, this function turns ON the backlight while displaying the calling
station’s call sign or ID, or a received message on the receiver's display.
OFF: The function is OFF.
ON: The backlight automatically lights while displaying the calling station's
call sign or ID, or a received message on the receiver's display.
The backlight continuously lights while the call sign or ID, or message
is scrolling.
NOTE:
The function is enabled only when the “Backlight” is set to “Auto” or
“Auto (DC IN: ON).” ([MENU] > Display > Backlight)
The backlight lights even if the function is OFF, when the “Backlight” is set to “ON” or
“Auto (DC IN: ON).”
