■ Tone squelch operation
The Tone squelch opens only when you receive a signal that includes a matching
subaudible tone.
L Refer to section 4 in the BASIC MANUAL for Tone scan or Code scan.
D Tone squelch frequency setting
<MODE> FM and FM-N
1. Push [QUICK].
2. Select “TONE.”
(Rotate [DIAL] to select it, and then push [ENTER].)
3. Select a Tone Squelch type.
4. Select a Tone Squelch frequency or DTCS code.
L You can select the DTCS code polarity from “Normal” or “Reverse,” by rotating [DIAL].
L The selected Tone Squelch type is displayed under the receive mode.
