■ Home channel function
Home channels are often-used frequencies you can preset in the receiver’s VFO mode
and Memory mode.
D Home channel setting
Example: In the VFO mode
1. Select a mode (VFO or Memory), frequency or channel in which you want to set the
Home channel.
2. Push [QUICK].
3. Select “Home CH Set.”
(Rotate [DIAL] to select it, and then push [ENTER].)
4. Select “Set Frequency.”
L If you set a channel, select “Set Channel” in the Memory mode.
L To clears the Home channel, select “Clear.”
D Home CH Beep function
When the set Home CH is selected by rotating [DIAL], a beep sounds.
You van make the Home CH selection without looking at the display.
You can assign the [Home CH] key function to an optional VS-3 key. (pp. 6-31, 6-32 and 8-4)
L You can turn OFF the Home CH Beep function on the MENU screen.
([MENU] > Sounds > Home CH Beep)
