C.3.5.5 Printing Enhancements with iPF option installed
After activating the option for Canon iPF printer the number of printing enhancements will
be extended.
The following additional parameters are available.
Parameter Description
Image: Optimized for color printouts.
Linedrawing: Optimized for bitonal line drawings.
Toggle the printing quality from draft to high quality.
The resolution of the selected setting will be displayed.
Select the color rendering method for the remote printer.
Perceptual:
The printer uses the nearest matching
colors of its own color space.
Saturation:
The printer uses the full range of its color
space despite of the color definition of the
scanned document.
Colorimetric: Relative colorimetric
maintains a near exact
relationship between in gamut colors, even
if this clips out of gamut colors.
ICC Profile: Uses the ICC profile of the printer.
(with Color Matching = ICC Profile)
Select the profile used for printing.
Detailed informa
tion about the selected ICC profile is
displayed in the setup level Poweruser
Modify the brightness level of the print.
Modify the contrast level of the print.
Modify the gamma correction level of the print.
