Unpacking the CUSA EXcel System
The CUSA EXcel system arrives in a corrugated cardboard crate strapped to a
wood shipping pallet. The corrugated cardboard crate has several components:
• A bottom, larger section contains the CUSA EXcel console and foam packing
cushions.
• A tray, inserted into the top of the crate and supported by the top of the crate
walls, contains the footswitch, contamination guards (2), service manual,
inservice kit, and dust cover.
• A lid covers the crate/tray assembly.
Tools You Will Need
• Utility knife
• Pliers (optional).
Unpacking Procedure
1. Cut the vertical bands on
the shipping crate. Remove
the bands.
Note: Save the box edge
protectors for use when
shipping the system.
2. Lift the lid and the tray from
the crate.
Remove the contents from
the tray, then put the tray
aside.
