What is the ED40 Decode Board?
The ED40 decode board is a companion module for Intermec’s family of imager
engines. It is used to control the imager, capture images and decode 1D and 2D
bar codes. The ED40 decode board can be used with the following Intermec
imager engines:
• EA11
• EA20X
• EA21
• EA30

The ED40 can be used as a one piece mounted design or a 2 piece unmounted
design as shown in the drawing below.
