Setting Up Software on the ED40
You can set up your ED40 using one of these two methods:
Using the EasySet® configuration application
Using the Intermec Scanner Control Protocol (ISCP)
Using the EasySet Software
EasySet is an Intermec configuration application that is available from the
Intermec web site at www.intermec.com/EasySet. Use EasySet to create
configuration bar codes that you can scan. For more information about EasySet,
see the EasySet software.
Using the Intermec Scanner Control Protocol (ISCP)
The Intermec Scanner Control Protocol (ISCP) is a secure structured protocol
used to communicate between an Intermec scanner and a host system. You can
use ISCP to send configuration commands directly from your host system.

API documentation that describes how to use the DLL file
Sample application (for several operating systems)
Sample application source code
List of supported ISCP commands and their default values for your imager
These are available upon request from your Intermec OEM Sales Representative.
