Connecting the Ribbon Cable
Follow this procedure to connect the host connector.
To connect the host connector
1 Open the connector clip. Use a small screwdriver or other pointed object to
push on the edge of the clip and extend it.
The voltage at the ED40 contacts must be at least 3.0V. At any lower voltage,
you will not have a reliable connection. Also, be sure to consider line drop
across the flex cable, which can be substantial.
Do not disconnect ribbon cables while power is on.
The connectors are very fragile. Open and close the connectors very
carefully.
