6 Electrical Connections
The following sections outline the necessary electrical connections for the IPG Scan Controller and the
XY2-100 Interface.
6.1 IPG Scan Controller Connections
The IPG Scan Controller is designed to allow users to interface with a number of different devices. Not
only does this include the scan head and a PC for programming, but it also includes the laser and
whatever industrial controls the application requires. Figure 6-1 provides a high-level overview of where
the Scan Controller fits within the system integration.
