4.9 Restoring the truck to service after maintenance and repairs
The truck can only be restored to service after cleaning or maintenance after the
following procedures have been carried out:
Procedure
• Thoroughly clean the truck, see page 340.
• Lubricate the truck according to the lubrication diagram, see page 328.
• Connect the battery connector (33) to the truck.
• Turn the emergency disconnect switch (9) to unlock it.
• Preparing the truck for operation, see page 117.
• Prepare the truck for operation, see page 138 or see page 139.
WARNING!
After cleaning or maintenance work test all the safety mechanisms to ensure they
are working correctly.
• Test the safety mechanisms, see page 145.
WARNING!
Faulty brakes can cause accidents
As soon as the truck has been started, test the brakes several times.

Report any defects immediately to your supervisor.
u
Tag out and decommission the faulty industrial truck.
u
Only return the truck to service when you have identified and rectified the fault.
