Torn fastening belts can cause accidents
Fastening belts can tear when routed over sharp edges.

Do not route the fastening belts over sharp edges. If this is not possible, protect
the fastening belts with suitable supports such as foam.

Protect fastening belts routed over lift chains with a suitable support such as foam.
WARNING!
Improper securing during transport can result in accidents
Improper securing of the basic truck during transport can result in serious accidents.

To attach the truck to the lorry or trailer secure fastening belts on either side to at
least two different fastening rings.
Securing the basic truck without lift mast for transport
Requirements
– Position the support frame (18) in the middle of the swivel traverse frame (25),
see page 177.
– Park the truck securely, see page 191.
– Remove the mast. The mast can only be removed by the manufacturer's specialist
customer service personnel who have been trained to do this. In exceptional
cases, this task may be performed by a customer service organisation authorised
by the manufacturer.
– Disconnect the battery if this is to be transported in the truck.
– Disassemble the support skids.
– Load the basic truck correctly onto the lorry or trailer.
