Observe the following when towing the ma-
chine:
1 Release parking brake.
2 Open the bypass valve on the hy-
drostat.
The emergency brake is locked automati-
cally when the motor is shut off. To release
the emergency brake, either start the motor
and then release the brake or manually re-
lease the brake.
Manually release the emergency brake:
Loosen the nut as per the illustration
below. The nut is located on the right
side of the machine, underneath the
rear of the machine.

Loosen nut 1 and 2 to open the bypass
hydrostat.

Engine is overheated Set the engine speed to idle.
Clean the radiator (see "Care and Maintenance).
Run the engine in idle until the warning lamp turns
off.
Check the level of cooling liquid in the engine.
If the warning lamp does not turn off within 5 min-
utes, shut off the engine and contact Customer Ser-
vice.

Engine is running erratically Clean or replace air filter

Engine is running but machine is
only moving slowly or is not moving
