3.10.3 Function of supply pump
The supply pump further increases the pressure of fuel
fed
by
the electromagnetic fuel feed pump and delivers
it to the rail.
The supply pump corresponds to conventional injection
pumps but pressurizes the fuel to more than 2 times
that of conventional pumps for delivery to the rail.
