6.43 Filling coolant
IMPORTANT
• Do not mix the different type or brand of L.L.C.
•
Do not use an anti-freeze and scale inhibitor at
the same time.
NOTE
• Make sure the drain valve is closed.

Fill the coolant until below the port from filling port.
IMPORTANT
• Make sure
that you close the radiator cap
correctly.
• When you add the coolant, release the air
from the engine coolant channels.
• The engine releases the air when it shakes
the radiator upper and lower hoses.
6.44 Filling engine oil
IMPORTANT
• Do not mix different types of oil.
•
Use the correct SAE engine oil by reference to
the ambient temperature.
NOTE
• Make sure the drain plug is tightened.

Fill the engine oil until the upper line (a) on the
dipstick from filling port.

Remove the cylinder head.
2. With the piston at T.D.C., use grease to affix three
or four plastigauges (1) to the crown of the piston;
keep the gauges away from the intake valve and
combustion chamber fittings.
