1. Measure the brush length (A) with a vernier
calipers.
NOTE
• If the
measurement is less than the service
limit, replace it.

2. Make sure that the brush moves smoothly.
NOTE

brush is damaged and not smoothly,

Check the continuity across each diode of rectifier
with the resistance range of circuit tester
.
NOTE
• The rectifier
is correct if the diode in the
rectifier conducts electricity only in one
direction.

• Circuit tester

Check the continuity across the B terminal (2) and
the F terminal (1) of IC regulator with the resistance
range of circuit tester.
NOTE
• The IC
regulator is correct if it conducts
electricity only in one direction.
