3. Install the oil pump drive gear 2 (6).

4. Tighten the oil pump drive gear 1 (5) mounting nut

to the specified torque after installing oil

6.18 Installing crankshaft oil slinger
1. Install the crankshaft oil slinger (1).
2. Install the O-ring (2).
NOTE
• Attach the crankshaft collar (3) after you
install the gear case cover to the crankcase.

6.19 Installing gear case cover
1. Install the gear case cover gasket.
2. Install the gear case cover (1).

Apply oil to the lip of oil seal.

3. Install the hour meter gear case cover (if attached).
4. Install the crankshaft collar.
6.20 Installing fan drive pulley
Tools required
• Flywheel stopper
•
46 mm (1.8 in.) deep socket wrench
1. Mount the flywheel stopper (1) on the flywheel.

2. Install the feather key.
3. Install the fan drive pulley (2).
