Information!
With F--variant robots, seals are fitted between the arm and main axis motor unit A3.
These must be removed and exchanged if necessary during installation.
When ordering a main axis motor unit, always indicate if it is for use in these robot va-
riants.
(8) Remove four M8x25 Allen screws (4) and lift off main axis motor unit A 3 (3).
Caution!
When removing main axis motor unit A3, care must be taken to avoid any injury
by crushing!
Notice!
Main axis motor unit A3 must not be tilted while it is being lifted off.
The orientation of main axis motor unit A3 is identified from the position of the
sockets (1, 2). When the motor unit is subsequently installed, these sockets
must be positioned in the same way as before removal.

Information!
If the main axis motor unit A3 is not to be reinstalled, it must be protected against corro-
sion before being put into storage.
