Speaker
The speaker produces all audible alarms and tones. It connects to the display board.
To replace the speaker, follow these instructions.
1. Disconnect the speaker wire connector from the display board. See Figure 13-4.
2. Using a putty knife, or similar instrument, dislodge the speaker from the biosafety
cabinet’s liner. See Figure 13-6 for reference.
3. If the adhesive holding the defective speaker to the liner wall is too difficult to
remove, the defective speaker can be left in place, and the new speaker adhered
next to it.
