Bottom plate removal
1. Remove the document cover assembly. See “Document cover assembly removal” on page 4-14.
2. Place the scanner on its back.
Note: Make sure you place the glass on a clean, soft surface to protect it.
3. Remove the sixteen screws (A).
4. Remove the bottom plate.
