Holiday Classic Owner’s Guide
How It Works:
The four buttons illustrated above:COUNTRY, B BAND (BIG BAND), SHOW, and LATIN are located to the right
of the GENERAL PRESET buttons.
Pressing any of the first four buttons creates 11 presets, consistent with each musical category listed above
the button. For example, pressing the
COUNTRY Category Preset button instantly sets up a complete coun-
try sound (Preset 0). Pressing any one of the 10 GENERAL PRESET buttons, while the COUNTRY button is
illuminated, creates 10 more country style sounds. All 11 Country Preset sound names, along with the other
Category Preset sound names, are listed below and on page 13.
All of the Category Presets set up a sound on the lower keyboard, to the right of the split point (Lower Right
Split), in addition to the upper keyboard sound. This sound complements the upper keyboard sound and is
like having a third keyboard from which to play.
How To Use It:
Press a CATEGORY PRESET button. The first preset for each category, PRESET 0, is active when your cate-
gory selection is made. Press among the 10 GENERAL PRESET buttons to get the other 10 presets, for a total
of 11 presets for each category. Each preset provides a complete upper keyboard sound, consistent with the
category selected. For example, if you like latin style music, press the
LATIN Category Preset button. You
get 11 dynamic latin music registrations.
Category Presets can be used along with rhythm styles, as an alternative to Rhythm Presets. They can also
be used with or without the Easy button with no rhythm style being used.
The 44
CATEGORY PRESET sounds in the Holiday Classic can not be changed and you will never lose them.
In some cases, the preset names displayed on the
COLOR DISPLAY will be abbreviated.

board registrations. Category Preset buttons are used in
combination with the 10
GENERAL PRESET buttons and
feature 11 beautiful registrations consistent with each musi-
cal category listed above each button.
Category Presets
