SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Safety triangles and re extinguishers
are available as optional equipment. The
Federal Motor Carrier Safety
Administration requires commercial
motor vehicles to be equipped with an
appropriate sized re extinguisher and
safety warning devices. The equipment
can be ordered from and installed by
Mack Trucks or installed by the vehicle
owner.
The re extinguisher must be located so
that it is readily accessible for use. The
extinguisher must be securely mounted
to prevent sliding, rolling, or vertical
movement relative to the motor vehicle.
The safety triangles must be securely
attached to any light-tight, enclosed,
and easily accessible compartment.

Warning Triangles, Rear Wall
The warning triangles are stored in a
box, secured to the oorboard, located
against the rear wall of the cab.
