SECTION 13 ERROR CODE LIST CONT.
Can‟t Lift Head, check Printer Mechanism
Error is shown while trying to lift the Print Head. If the
Cam Sensor does not block within 5 seconds the error is
displayed. By this point the Head has been lifted and the
Cam Sensor has just unblocked. The Printer is pulsing
the Cam Motor backwards to prevent overrun.
Can‟t Drop Head, check Printer Mechanism
Error is raised while trying to lower the Print Head. If the
Cam Sensor does not unblock within 5 seconds the error
is displayed. This function is called by the HEAD quick
command, the Cleaning routine and the Soak test routine.
Error is shown while lowering the Print Head and
analyzing the image data. If the Cam Sensor does not
unblock within 3 seconds this error is displayed. Note by
this point the image data has been completely analysed.
This function is used during the Printing routine before
starting to print each colour panel.
Flipper Error, cannot initialise the Flipper.
Please clear Printer mechanism
Error is shown while trying to initialise the Flipper

Flipper mechanism, if the front Sensor was found to be
blocked.
Error is shown while trying to initialise the Flip
mechanism. If the Flipper Position Sensor is not
unblocked within 4 seconds the error will be displayed.
By this point the Printer has already cleared any Cards
away from the Flipper mechanism if the Front Sensor was
found to be blocked. Also the Flipper Position Sensor has
been cleared (In other words, the Sensor is in the slot).
Mag Verify Fail. Press Retry or Cancel to
continue.
Error is shown after carrying out the Magnetic Verification
cycle. If the data read back from the Card on the final
attempt does not match the data that was sent in the print
job the error is displayed. This error cannot occur if either
“Perform Verification” is switched off in the Printer
Settings or another error (e.g. Lid Open or Card Jam)
occurs during encoding/verification cycle.
