STEP 3: REGISTERING FINGERPRINTS
The Assistant for recording your fingerprints will appear after the
manual registration.
1. Click on Enroll.
2. Enter the password stored in Windows for the user reg-
istered and then click on Next.
3. Please click on the fingerprint, in order to select the de-
vice, and confirm your selection with Next.
4. Now select the finger that you want to register and click on
Further.
5. Now stroke across the sensor three times from top to
bottom with the top phalanx (fingerprint). You will have to
stroke the phalanx across the sensor a fourth time to
check that the print has been recognized correctly (a green
fingerprint will be displayed). Then confirm with Next.
6. It is recommended to register at least two fingers. To do
this, click on Yes and repeat the previous steps (4 and 5).
7. You will be able to set additional options (sound signal
and task performance settings) after the registration of
the fingerprints. Then click on Next.
8. The registration for one user will now be concluded if you
click on Done.
9. You will now have the possibility of setting up additional
users by means of the OmniPass – Register new user?
Window. Please click on Yes. Click on No to close the Con-
figuration program.
