NOTES
• The TP protocols are open interfaces to the ZB4-601/609-IF1 and enable data exchange with any PLC
provided with programmable interfaces.
• The major difference between the two protocols (TP1 and TP2) is that TP1 transfers individual values and
TP2 data blocks.
For this see the following sections.
• The protocol does not require a hardware handshake and can be used with any interface.
