2 Connection
Both of the CAN IN and CAN OUT connection ports of the ZB4-606-IF1 communication card are wired in
parallel and are assigned to the same physical interface. All pin connections from CAN IN are looped to CAN
OUT; including those that are not assigned with a function (*).
The design with two connectors enables the looping of the Bus via the card by using a single cable segment.
Stub lines routed via T connectors and wire jumpers in the connectors can be avoided in this manner.
Pin assignment according to the Cia (CAN international users and manufacturers group) specifications:
CAN IN 9 pole, Sub-D plug, female
CAN OUT 9 pole, Sub-D plug, male
