3 Control display LEDs
The ZB4-606-IF1 communication card has 2 LEDs available for monitoring communication. They are located
beside the CAN IN port.
ERROR If the LED lights up (red), the last data transfer to the PLC could not be correctly
executed.
The LED goes off only after the next successful data transfer to the PLC has been
executed.
This LED may not light in normal operation.
ACTIV A green LED which lights during an active data transfer between the ZB4-606-IF1 and
PLC.
Normally, this LED should flash momentarily ( <1 second ) with each data transfer.
4 Configuration
S1 configuration switch
The configuration switches are not
assigned with DeviceNet relevant
functions.
J1 line termination
The CAN Bus must be provided on both
ends of the connection cable with a line
termination.
If jumper J1 is set to the ON position, the
line termination is activated and remains
activated even when the communication
card is switched off.




