10 Connecting the Ethernet Interface
The Ethernet interface is implemented in accordance with the IEEE 802.3 (10/100BASE-T) standard.
The network is implemented with shielded twisted pair cable and shielded RJ45 connectors. The units
connected to the MV4-600 must also support shielded connections. The cable length and transmission speed
of twisted pair cable used for Ethernet networks must comply with the relevant cable specifications. See also
the specification as per EIA/TIA 568 TSB-36.
Cables connected to the Ethernet interface must be laid separately from the low-voltage cables.
