1 Introduction
This documentation is intended as a reference for the connection, commissioning and operation of the ZB4-
606-IF1 communications card. It can be installed in MV4 series devices.
This card can only be plugged-in or removed under no voltage conditions.
The ZB4-606-IF1 communications card enables coupling of the MV4 series devices via the DeviceNet. The
Application Layers supported are described in detail in section 6.
WARNING ! Safety precautions concerning electrostatic discharge (ESD) must
be observed when handling the cards.
Never plug in the communication cards when the power supply is
switched on.
Only operate the communication cards once they have been fully
screwed into position.
