14 Expansion and Configuration Options
14.1 System interventions
The measures described in this section require the housing cover to be removed. When the device is
opened, parts are accessible that may carry dangerous voltages. Removing the housing cover and
interventions on the internal parts of the device must only be carried out after the power supply has been
switched off and the power supply plug connector has been removed.
Interventions and modifications to the device that are not described in this document will invalidate the
warranty agreement.
Interventions on the device must only be carried out after the power supply has been
switched off! During operation device components carry dangerous voltage!
Safety precautions concerning electrostatic discharge (ESD) must be observed when
making interventions on the device
14.2 Auxiliary voltage output on the System port (5V)
Pin 9 of the System port
Section 11 can be used for providing external additional hardware with a power
supply (+5V, jumper J10 on the main board in position B). This is not short-circuit proof and not overload
protected and must only be used in conjunction with original Moeller hardware. The power supply cannot be
used for non-Moeller Panel products.
