Wirelesslocalareanetworks(WLANs)allowtheMC40tocommunicatewirelesslyinsideabuilding.Beforeusing
theMC40onaWLAN,thefacilitymustbesetupwiththerequiredhardwaretoruntheWLAN(sometimesknown
asinfrastructure).TheinfrastructureandtheMC40mustbothbeproperlyconguredtoenablethiscommunication.
Refertothedocumentationprovidedwiththeinfrastructure(accesspoints(APs),accessports,switches,Radius
servers,etc.)forinstructionsonhowtosetuptheinfrastructure.
OncetheinfrastructureissetuptoenforcethechosenWLANsecurityscheme,usetheWireless&networks
settingstoconguretheMC40tomatchthesecurityscheme.
TurnoffWi-Fiwhennotusingit,toextendthelifeofthebattery.
