5.4BluetoothPowerStates
TheBluetoothradioisoffbydefault.
SuspendWhentheMC40goesintosuspendmode,theBluetoothradioturnsoff.
ResumeWhentheMC40resumes,Bluetoothturnsonifitwasonpriortosuspend.
AirplaneModeWhentheMC40isplacedinAirplaneMode,theBluetoothradioturnsoff.WheninAirplane
Mode,theBluetoothradiocanbeturnedbackonifdesired.
5.5BluetoothRadioPower
TurnofftheBluetoothradiotosavepowerorifenteringanareawithradiorestrictions(e.g.,anairplane).When
theradioisoff,otherBluetoothdevicescannotseeorconnecttothedevice.TurnontheBluetoothradioto
exchangeinformationwithotherBluetoothdevices(withinrange).CommunicateonlywithBluetoothradios
incloseproximity.
