NOTE
• For VJ-1624W, to perform head cleaning during printing while the head height is set to High,
make sure to do the following.
• When "Change Head Gap Low" is displayed on Operation panel, set the head height to Low.
• After head cleaning is complete, "Change Head Gap High" is displayed on Operatino panel.
Set the head height to High. After changing the setting, printing starts.
4.2.5 Head height adjustment
• For VJ-1624, auto cleaning can be performed regardless of the head height.
• If blurs or lacking parts in printed media do not disappear with one time of Head cleaning,
perform Strong cleaning.
• If blurs or lacking parts in printed media do not disappear with several times of Head cleaning,
refer to "7 Troubleshooting", and take appropriate measures.
6.2.4 Cleaning Cleaning wiper
This section describes how to clean Cleaning wiper.
(1) Time for cleaning
Once a week, or when blurs or lacking parts appear on printed media after Head cleaning.
(2) Cleaning procedures
Follow the procedure below to clean Cleaning wiper.
NOTE
• Use Cleaning stick to clean Cleaning wiper.
For details of Cleaning stick, refer to "8.3 Options/Supply list".
1. If the printer is turned ON, make sure the following.
• Printing or other operations are not in progress.
• Operation panel display is Normal.
