Enabling Intel® vPro (Active Management Technology)
This chapter describes how to enable Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT)
in NCR motherboards. It also provides an overview of the features, as well as information
on configuring Intel® Active Management Technology, and minimum system
requirements.
These are the NCR motherboards that support Intel® AMT:

Overview
Intel® AMT allows you to remotely power on, monitor, update, repair, or control
computers with Intel® vPro™ processors regardless of its power state or if it has a
functioning OS or not. The only condition is that the computer must be connected to a
power source and a network. Intel® AMT is part of the Intel® vPro™ technology.
