Installing the Terminal
This chapter explains how to perform an "Out-of-box" installation of a CX7 configured with
the Base and how to connect optional peripheral devices. The standard items included in
the box are:

I/OSecurity Cover
The CX7 comes fully assembled and ready to use. All that is required to install is connect
the AC Power Cord, LAN Cable, and peripheral device cables.

Note
The POSLCD has a protective film. After removing the film, the LCD should be
cleaned. For more information, refer to Cleaning the Touchscreen on page131.
